Unlike other providers, we make sure that you are made fully aware of what will happen throughout the entire translation, localization and/or engineering process:

Analysis and consultation: We’ll discuss the project with you, listen to your needs, review the project specs, and provide you with a clear project estimate and timeline.

Document preparation: We thoroughly review and analyze the source materials, assign appropriate resources, define parameters, etc.

Technical preparation and translation: Our professional translators will translate your content, and our efficient project managers will collaborate with you throughout the process.

Editing, proofreading, and quality assurance: Checks and double checks ensure that we deliver a flawless product to you.

Client delivery and review: During this step, we work together closely to ensure any last minute changes are implemented quickly and to your satisfaction.

Finalize edits and obtain any necessary in-country approvals: We’ll work with you to ensure you receive the necessary internal approvals to move the project forward and deliver a quality product to your audience.

In addition to the steps above, we leave room and space for client collaboration, review and feedback. Throughout every step you’ll feel confident knowing your project is in great hands and we have implemented quality control processes every step of the way.

Our Project Managers

Our project managers typically have in-the-field translation experience themselves, as well as extensive project management experience. In addition to handling projects that are general in nature, each project manager has an area of specialization: software localization, web localization, typesetting and production, etc. Omni Tech's Project Managers have access to a combination of detailed item lists and timelines to ensure that components are handled in the proper sequence, that items are completed and shipped at the right times to the right people, and that the right team members are brought online when needed.

How We Manage Complex Projects

Every project is assigned a separate tracking number. This number remains attached to the project from inception through invoicing. Large, long-duration or highly fragmented projects are given a master number - or identifier - and separate component numbers are attached to it. This allows us to accurately track each and every project component throughout the entire project; no matter how long or how complex.

Omni Tech also creates online inventory checklists that allow project managers to keep track of where individual components are in the workflow:

Case study: The Omni Tech project manager and support team had to keep track of approximately 160 interactive training programs in 6 languages, each one comprising numerous content files, interactions, graphic elements, and support materials. Many thousands of files and components simultaneously flowed through our system and both the project managers and support staff knew at all times what the status of each one of these components was. The client also continuously knew where each training module was along the line; from file prep through translation, from QC through reassembly, from re-engineering through final testing and final delivery. The entire project was completed on-time, on-budget and on-target!

We have extensive experience in handling large and multifaceted projects and can handle these projects in either one language at a time, or in a number of languages simultaneously.

Omni Tech consistently invests in the best infrastructure possible for maximum compatibility and to provide our clients with consistent, high quality results. We strive to always have the latest releases of the applications we use and require employees to stay current on the software packages that they work with. We also keep abreast of the latest releases of new applications that will enhance our services and provide better results for our clients.

Some of the applications we use most often under various operating systems include: Illustrator, InDesign, PageMaker, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Final Cut, Soundtrack, Captivate, Articulate, MS Office and QuarkXPress, just to name a few. We also maintain a full complement of specialized translation leverage and software localization tools, both off the shelf and proprietary.
